Many of you may wonder what is it I do exactly. In simple words, I link brands to designs. Actually, I'm passionate about it.
I had the chance to work on exciting projects - such as this one: Chloe Cafe. Initially what started as a simple crossover concept between French luxury brand Chloe and Dean & Deluca Cafe, turned into a 360 degree consumer experience. We wanted to do more. Integrating Parisian romance into the setting was not enough, we wanted to create a dream-like glimpse into Chloe's world.
That's when the theme "Je suis Chloe" was born - "I am Chloe."
Simple, yet powerful. This statement, true to French authenticity and Chloe's identity, translated into an integrated whole of space design, limited edition items and advertisements. During the month of April, Dean & Deluca @ Breeze Center was flooded with people, wanting to take part of this experience. Tote bags sold at NT1,680 and 35 limited cups of coffee (that came with 'Je suis Chloe' mug) sold out daily just one hour after store opening!
From the white painted cat at the cafe entrance to all the custom-made furniture in Chloe's bedroom, we wanted to make every detail just perfect. And so was this experience for me.

Hi, Cachecache I'm Shin, a MA Fashion Marketing and Communication student from Nottingham Trent University, UK. I am currently working on a project about ''Integrating the afternoon tea culture into a luxury brand'' which is exactly the same thing about this Chloé project you did before. I am studying about the positive impacts the café bring to the sales of the brand as well as on the design and visual merchandising. As your article is very helpful to my research, I wonder if I can take your opinions in order to explain this project concept in my case study? The primary reseach has been tough, and uneasy. I have been looking at other luxury brands' cafés such as, Agnès b, Bvlgari, Chanel, Gucci, and Shiatzy Chen. Moreover, I have earlier contacted Paul Smith Japan office about my project and that they replied me saying that there are difficulties about the management and store design. And I am studying on how to overcome this problem in order to give advice to them. I wonder if you can also share with me the pictures you posted here for my study case. They will be academic use only. And if you have any doubts and questions about my project. Please do not hesitate to ask me. The link below is my facebook group, there is research purpose more detailedly explained. http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/group.php?gid=370155979759&ref=ts Thank you very much for your support. I hope to hear back from you soon. Best regards, Shin MA Fashion Marketing and Communication Nottingham Trent University, UK +886911795386 +447958065386
